'Obstacles' Series
Inspired by my Yoga practice and long time interest in Taoism and Buddhism, this series explores the concept of our attitude toward and ability to handle obstacles. In Taoism, water moving over rocks is often used as a metaphor for dealing with obstacles, focusing on water's flexibility and strength. A haiku accompanies each photograph. This series was captured at different Washington river locations. All images are professionally printed on canvas and stretched over wooden bars. Archival ink and UV coating is used to prevent fading up to 100 years.
Format is either square 30" x 30", or 18" x 45" or 45" x 18"
